Really neat app but ..... Shouldnt be from a different language to English not English to English

Downloaded this for fun.. But holy crap!! I am American, and this is no where near accurate. Maybe if we were all dumb blondes?? Really?? Do no waste your time unless you download as a joke.

Absolute failure as an app. First off, AMERICAN IS NOT A LANGUAGE. And the voice they picked for this is horrible. I want the nothing I spent on this back.

The people who created this app are dumb. First off American isnt a language its called English…And none of those phrases will ever be handy for…Also if they dont know how to speak the language in the first place how would people know what the words even means

when youre learning a non existing language. If the developers dont even know what language theyre speaking, what makes you think they can teach you how to speak "English" AND this app is clearly NOT MEANT for people who DO NOT KNOW an ounce of English because EVERYTHING IS IN ENGLISH!!! So you have to be able to read and understand some English before you can use this app.

Excellent and very handy

How would someone be able to use this app if he or she doesnt know how to read English? That usually follows speaking & understanding. The way this app is set up, though, it seems the developers think the reverse is true. On a more personal note, the girls voice is annoying & lacks proper inflection in multiple cases. To give the developers a little credit theres a difference between American English & British English. Whether or not it applies is another story.

Its just a waste of money n nothing else, just the few words under every title which I think every common man knows who already knows the few words of English, theres nothing new to learn. Very expensive as compare to other applications for iPhone / iPod but has nothing inside it, I just wish I could gt my money back :((

This has to be just for laughs. the dumb blonde and her slutty American lines are fun to repeat. You can hear a truck backing up when she says to the airport, its like the app version of a low budget film.

Firstly and foremostly and as a proud American, Im offended by someones remark about the girl having a slutty American accent. Clearly that guy cant get a real woman and this being the closest thing, he is only projecting his wants. This app is definitely for the person who can read English proficiently but might not be strong in conversational English. What differentiates this as an app for speaking American? The girl whose voice reminds me of Summer Wheatley from the movie Napoleon Dynamite.
